Kererū (Wood Pigeon) Programme
for children 3-3.5 years to school entry with a maximum of 27 children
The children demonstrate high levels of engagement in a stimulating and spacious environment at Preschool and out and about in the community that provides them with rich opportunities to actively explore their developing autonomy and learn to respect and make sense of the world.
TE AO MĀORI
Aotearoa New Zealand’s bicultural heritage is protected, kaiako embrace tikanga values and our curriculum Te Whāriki guides us to empower our Māori learners and all our children to grow strong in identity, language and culture.
Children are supported to respond positively to varied challenges, take risks, try out new things and participate in energetic physical activity.
RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY
Equitable opportunities enable children to confidently participate and make their own unique contributions.
Teachers nurture empathy through interactions, modelling, respectful practice and caring for the environment as children develop their working theories.
